At Barker & Katz, a pet sitter will care for your cat, feed your fish, or even look after your chickens. We will also provide a dog walker to exercise your dog on a private walk.
Some pets experience anxiety when owners are away. By letting them stay home in their own environment, the experience is more enjoyable
and the routine of the pet is maintained.

About The Owner
My name is Lori and I am the owner of Barker & Katz Professional Pet Services. I grew up in Pennsylvania and have lived in the Triad for over 10 years. After leaving employment at a local law enforcement agency, I began to pursue a career focused in animal services. Having my own business has always been an interest of mine and I am very pleased that I am able to spend each day caring for gentle souls with fur.
As a child, I had several cats: Baby, Cleo, and Fluffy. I have special memories about each one of these animals, as they were my most faithful playmates and my favorite cuddling partners. It was during this time that my passion for animals developed. Later on my life, I laid eyes on a Beagle/Jack Russell mix puppy who would capture my heart once more. He was named Hamlet and he had turned in front paws and I brown spot on his leg that he let me rub as much as I wanted. He was the best dog with a terrific smile.
The boy that had his name on my heart the longest (17 years) seemed to be more human than feline: Silas. He was very cool and would ride in my car and he had the most stunning eyes. He will always be unforgettable.
I have had many other animals in my life and each one was special to me. Some of these pets are featured on my website but all left a lasting impression on my heart.
These days, I have two dogs: Gracie & Sal, a handi-capable cat named May, and an aquarium with various creatures.
